Christmas Eve, December 24 2020. Everything that might affect my gout that I can count and measure.12/22/2020 I am going to take a two-day break from my diet to enjoy the Christmas festivities with the family. This will explain my very high UA readings.
Todays weather and temperature: Sunny and around 0 degrees centigrade. Snow continues to melt away without need for shovelling. Breakfast: Cheese sandwiches, coffee, and leftover from kids breakfast. Fermented (natto) beans and nori sheets - not low purine. Lunch: A whole pile of kara-age, fried chicken. And macaroni salad. Purine vacation. Snack: Swedish ginger breads with sugar glaze. And a low-carb donut I picked up at 7-11. Remarkably sweet! Dinner: Vegetable gratin with a "gammo" tofuburger. And wine. Todays supplements and dosage: Aojiru in mango smoothie. Todays UA reading: 7.1 mg/dL. Wine raises the UA, too. 20%. Now you know. Todays step count: 17304 steps. How much did I drink today?: Coffee 1 liter, water 3 liter. 4 liters, that is about 1 1/10 US gallons. And it must be the tea that made me go so urgently, lemon juice in water had no such effect. This weeks weight: 121.6 kg How many times did I go to the toilet today? #1 9 times, #2 3 times. My urine pH this morning (for why this matters, read more here): 7 Was my urine strange in any way? No. How many minutes did I use the Sixpad Foot Fit Plus? None, I did not sit at my desk today.
