So it was the shiitake that elevated my UA. I knew they were rich in purines, but not quite that rich. Other mushrooms are poor in purines, though. I think I will have a mushroom stir-fry for lunch some day, just to test.
Todays weather and temperature: Clear and somewhat coldish (so the sakura blossoms stay on until Sunday). Current stress level (scale from 1 (low) to 5 (high)): 4, kids being at home while mommy and daddy work really does not help. Breakfast: Vege-burger with cheese, and a couple of slices of the kids french toast. Without maple syrup. Lunch: Steamed celery and onion with "gammo" tofu burger. And a nice celery and onion salad. Could have added half an apple to that one. But then it would have been a meal in its own. Snack: Nuts. Got to be careful with those, it is hard to stop. Dinner: Okinawan-style noodles (without the meat). In case you did not know, Okinawa in southern Japan has a special food culture and a diet that may be even healthier than the Mediterrenean. Todays supplements and dosage: 6 fish oil capsules. Todays UA reading: 6.4 mg/dL. Todays step count: I had terrible muscle pain all night, and in the morning too, so I took a smaller and shorter walk. My new route had more stairs and slopes than before, that was clearly more noticeable than I thought. But I still made 9940 steps. How much did I drink today?: Coffee 1.5 liter, water 2 liter. This weeks weight: 118.2 kg Waist circumference: 114 cm How many times did I go to the toilet today? #1 7 times, #2 3 times. My urine pH this morning (for why this matters, read more here): 6 Was my urine strange in any way? No How many minutes did I use the Sixpad Foot Fit Plus? 10
