Today I should finish my cherry experiment. But I decided to finish them first. What I can say, however, is that they do not seem to have any effect on my uric acid level whatsoever. I can not say if they have any other effects, because I have no way of checking. But for lowering uric acid they do not work. Too bad, Traverse Bay Farms had this great offer and all.
Breakfast: Salad (with beans) and tomatoes, minestrone soup.
Lunch: Noodles (leftover) with kimchi vegetables and salcornia (from the morning) and a little ketchup. Worked surprisingly well together, and no purines and very little sugar.
Snack: Tomatoes, salcornia, and haricot verts.
Dinner: Oden, traditional Japanese fish, tofu, and vegetable pieces in a slightly sour soup. Winter food. But the fish cakes are rich in purines.
Todays UA reading: 8.0 mg/dL, and I fumbled a bit so it took three test strips to get there.
A bowl of fried tofu, fish cakes, egg, daikon and konyakku in a slightly sour broth.
Japanese oden, a typical winter dish. The fish cakes are rich in purines.
