Yet another monday. Well, the darkest part of the year is getting shorter, that's something!
Breakfast: Cheese and egg sandwiches with pickles.
Lunch: Cabbage and onion omelet with soy meat.
Snack: Balance Power bars (chocolate flavor), plus a similar bar which was had a very nice texture but mint taste, which was really unpleasant. So I had a sandwich as well.
Dinner: Oden, fried rice, and some Cesar salad without bacon.
Todays supplements and dosage: I was not planning on any since I am day 19 of my 21-day reset. I did have an idea about what to test after trying cherries and testing apple cider vinegar. But then my wife said "you really should try this", and married men will relate to my now starting a test of "aojiru". This is a drink made from kale and wheatgrass, and it tastes so horrible that drinking it is a common punishment on Japanese game shows. My wife drinks it too so that is not the reason.
But it is rich in potassium and other minerals, so if hyperuricemia has something to do with mineral or vitamin deficiency we should soon find out, as I should be better very quickly and it should be reflected in my UA levels. She had me buy a three-week supply, but since we drink it together I expect this trial to last for two weeks. Just until Christmas.
Todays UA reading: 10.4 mg/dL, so there goes my hypothesis about claypot ma-bo dofu. But it sure was good!
Todays step count: 6842 steps, since I had to take my son to the doctor. Why do girls never shoot themselves in the eye when they get a bow and arrow toy set?
How much did I drink today?: Water 8 glasses (1.5 liters), coffee 0.5 liters, tea 3 liters, total 5 liters, about 1.5 gallons.
