If my goal was to raise my uric acid to gout attack level. this would have been an almost perfect day. No excercise to speak of and horrible diet. Your step count does go up when you have to spend an hour running around the DIY store looking for the soft animal your daughter put on a shelf before some picks it up.
Breakfast: Pancakes with nutella and banana. And "shuumai", a kind of Chinese open dumplings.
Lunch: Yakiniku, thin slices of meat that you fry yourself at the table. You can order an "all you can eat" course which we did. Much cheaper than ordering one by one.
Snack: No room for a snack, but I took some crackers anyway.
Dinner: Seafood hotpot with oysters and shrimp balls. And I had a beer, a purine-free and alcohol-free beer. Slightly flat taste but good - real beer.
Todays supplements and dosage: None, I am on day 11 of my 21-day reset.
Todays UA reading: 7.7 mg/dL. 16% increase overnight. Thank you, beer! Not.
Todays step count: 10961 steps

If you want to know more about what you can do about your gout and how to make sure you never have a flareup again, try reading my little book "Gout Simply Explained" which chronicles the research I did and what I found out. It is quite simple, really.
