We try to eat a lot of vegetables, so meals are often seasonal. I think it shows in the uric acid level - they do not contain purines. Or very little.
Breakfast: Leftover from yesterdays pot-au-feu, stirfry of some other leftovers and frozen vegetables. Bread and hommus. Lunch: Chicken katsu with soup and salad at a nearby restaurant run by people with disabilities. They may not always behave like you would expect restaurant staff but they sure can cook. Snack: Japanese rice crackers (senbei). Dinner: I made vegetarian no-bean chili. It worked, even the kids ate it. I put the recipe on my cooking page. We also had cheese wraps (one of those surprises from Costco), and unfortunately I inherited a large part of my sons, with bacon in it. Not sure whether it will show up on my UA tomorrow. Todays UA reading: 8.9 mg/dL Todays step count: 8128 steps, that was without walk, since I skipped that today.
