So there was more starch than I expecter in those parsnip chips. I think that is the likeliest explanation for the sudden spike in uric acid.
Anothervthing is that I started drinkibg rooibos tea. Inusually do not do this without evidence, and a few years bavk there was a study that rooibos may lower the uric scid production in the liver. Just like allopurinol. Great if it was true. Let me check for a couple of weeks. Todays weather and temperature: Up to 13 deg c during the day, a couple of degrees minus at night, sunny and clear. Lunch: Vegetable curry, olives, a little kimchi and tofu stir-fry left over from yesterday. Snack: An apple. And some Japanese crackers. Dinner: Hotpot from Sunday, without meat. Todays supplements and dosage: Aojiru in a green smoothie, 6 fish oil capsules, rooibos tea. Todays UA reading: 8.6 mg/dL Todays step count: 13786 steps How much did I drink today?: Water 2 liter, coffee 1 liter, rooibos tea 1.5 liter. Total 4.5 liter, about 1 1/3 US gallon. This weeks weight: 122.4 kg Waist circumference: 120 cm How many times did I go to the toilet today? #1 8 times, #2 3 times. My urine pH this morning (for why this matters, read more here): 6 Was my urine strange in any way? Not to me, but then it is mine. How many minutes did I use the Sixpad Foot Fit Plus? 20, lots of desk time today and my workroom was warmer than usual so no need for socks.
