Sugar is dangerous. Not only does it rot your teeth, but if you have gout youknow that it rots your bones as well. Or at least the joints between them. Because the excess uric acid production that leads tonuric acid crystals being stored so they can set off a gout attack is really glucose production. Uric acid is really a by-product.
Todays weather and temperature: Bit windy and cloudy, around 5 deg C. Colder at night. Breakfast: Blue cheese rice, with a blue cheese-tofu omelet. You need 4 eggs with 250 g tofu at least. Lunch: Korean style chige soup with tofu and kimchi. Snack: Nachos with guacamole and cheese dip. Dinner: Vegetable soup. Todays supplements and dosage: Aojiru in a green smoothie. Todays UA reading: 9.9 mg/dL, and since the only two things I had which could affect uric acid was the dried fruit and the chocolate without sugar, I suspect that my liver happily started overproducing glucose again. Or I still have stored uric acid crystals. Or both. But since my weight has gone up, I think that the glucose explanation is more likely. Todays step count: 6283 steps. How much did I drink today?: Coffee 1 liter, water 2 liter, no-alcohol beer like drink 0.3 liter. This weeks weight: 121 kg. Waist circumference: 120 cm.
