We took a chance and went to a Hokkaido food fair. Before the pandemic, these fairs happened all the time. Local manufacturers (supported by their prefectural governments) went to Tokyo (or Sendai, or Osaka) to show off their products, which often were different and delicious. There has not been any for a year and a half, until now.

We tried to find a cafe I located in Google Maps, but they must have closed. So we bought some food in a very cool place, that was bento makers by day and drinking place by night. Happens all the time now. Lunch: Curry bread and potato croquettes - the only low-purine foods at the Hokkaido fair. As we watched TV.
