We took a chance and went to a Hokkaido food fair. Before the pandemic, these fairs happened all the time. Local manufacturers (supported by their prefectural governments) went to Tokyo (or Sendai, or Osaka) to show off their products, which often were different and delicious. There has not been any for a year and a half, until now.
