Sunday, December 20: Things which affect my gout (uric acid concentration, urine PH, diet, etc).12/19/2020 Todays weather and temperature: More snow all day, on and off. Temperatures around 0, one-two plus degrees centigrade during the day. Shoveling every 2 hours during the morning. Breakfast: Gammon tofuburger, lefteover rice and vegetable curry. Maybe the curry had too much beans in it, considering my UA this morning. Lunch: Avocado salad and avocado eggs benedict. Delicious and low purine. Snack: No snack today. Dinner: Kaiten-zushi, since they were featured on TV yesterday. Which of course meant they were completely full and we had to wait an hourand a half to get seated. I tried to eat vegetarian only (and they had a roll with pickled turnip leaves which was to kill for), but of course I had to try a couple of the dishes they featured on TV as well. The herring roe "gunkan" was really interesting, like something we might eat at home but professionally made. And it will certainly show up in the UA in the morning. Todays supplements and dosage: Aojiru in a yoghurt smoothie. Todays UA reading: 7.8 mg/dL. Todays step count: 9775 step. How much did I drink today?: Water 15 glasses of 0.2 L comes down to 3 liters, coffee 1 liter, tea 0.5 liter. Total 4.5 liters, approx 1 5/6 US gallon. More hydrated than yesterday. This weeks weight: 121.6 kg How many times did I go to the toilet today? #1 7 times, #2 3 times. My urine pH this morning (for why this matters, read more here): 8, so it is alkaline after the vegetable diet yesterday. Was my urine strange in any way? No. How many minutes did I use the Sixpad Foot Fit Plus? None, I was not sitting at my desk today.
