After basic cleanup at home we drove to a fancy onsen and sports club that we saw in a TV commercial. They had several hot spring baths. If warming up your feet help against gout this ought to last me a year.
Todays weather and temperature: Still somewhat cold, but clear and not so windy. Breakfast:Minestrone soup (some sausages might have got in). Lunch: Japanese selection menu at the combined sports club and hot spring bath, very fancy and low calorie. But not worth the price. Snack: Drink yoghurt, since drinking mik is traditional in Japanese public baths. Dinner: The kids wanted to go to a kaiten-zushi, where the sushi goes around on a conveyor belt, but they stopped that due to the pandemic andyou had to order the sushi directly. It becomes even better that way. And even though fish is a high-purine food, they had a big enough selection of vegetarian alternatives. I like umeshisokappamaki, but yamagobo - an orange pickled root vegetable in a thin roll - was amazing. And zero purine. But I might have tasted the kids sushi too much... Todays supplements and dosage: None Todays UA reading: 4.6, altough I got a "low temperature" indication first, so it may actually be higher. The UASure is not really reliable when the temperature in the room is below 15 degrees centigrade or so. My urine pH this morning (for why this matters, read more here): 7 Was my urine strange in any way? No How many minutes did I use the Sixpad Foot Fit Plus? No, onsen today.
