After basic cleanup at home we drove to a fancy onsen and sports club that we saw in a TV commercial. They had several hot spring baths. If warming up your feet help against gout this ought to last me a year.
Todays weather and temperature: Still somewhat cold, but clear and not so windy.
Breakfast:Minestrone soup (some sausages might have got in).
Lunch: Japanese selection menu at the combined sports club and hot spring bath, very fancy and low calorie. But not worth the price.
Snack: Drink yoghurt, since drinking mik is traditional in Japanese public baths.
Dinner: The kids wanted to go to a kaiten-zushi, where the sushi goes around on a conveyor belt, but they stopped that due to the pandemic andyou had to order the sushi directly. It becomes even better that way. And even though fish is a high-purine food, they had a big enough selection of vegetarian alternatives. I like umeshisokappamaki, but yamagobo - an orange pickled root vegetable in a thin roll - was amazing. And zero purine. But I might have tasted the kids sushi too much...
