Thursday, December 31. Everything I can weigh and measure to make sure I do not get another gout attack.
Sunny and mixed snow showers, which should mean a nice walk if you were not preparing the new years dinner - which starts in the morning in Japan (it is like Thanksgiving). And watching Star Trek Discovery on Netflix. It picks up in the second season, let us see if it stays that way.
Todays weather and temperature: Sunny and snow showers, temperature a bit above zero degrees centigrade.
Breakfast: Salad and cheese sandwich(es), the last one with the final two pieces of bacon.
Lunch: "Imoni" vegetable soup and daikon boiled in dashi soup. And a small bowl of rice.
Dinner: Boiled Chinese cabbage with meat (for everyone but me, but I got a couple of slices too), and boiled and marinated vegetables.
Todays supplements and dosage: Aojiru in a berry smoothie (made with frozen mixed berries).
Todays UA reading: 4.0, the lowest ever. I even had to measure it twice to make sure. But even with plenty of blood on the test strip that is what came up. Those zero-purine beers may even have had a positive effect.
Todays step count: 1827 steps (only left the house to shovel the snow).
How much did I drink today?: Water 1.5 liter, coffee 1 liter, tea 0.5 liter, no-al beer 1 liter. Total 4 liters, about 1 2/7 US gallon.
Add some orange zest to your coffee - it really raises the flavor!
This weeks weight: 121 kg
How many times did I go to the toilet today? #1 9 times, #2 2 times.
My urine pH this morning (for why this matters, read more here): 6
Was my urine strange in any way? Nope.
How many minutes did I use the Sixpad Foot Fit Plus? None, another day away from my desk.
