Today was a public holiday, so we took a trip to a park with slides made of artificial grass, now that the snow has melted away. The wind was so strong and full of snow that we gave up and went to a nearby hot spring bath to warm up.
Todays weather and temperature: Very windy and snow showers. Temperature down from 10
plus in the early morning to 2 plus by lunch.
Breakfast: Leftovers: Fried tofu, curry with tofu, pasta gratin.
Lunch: Soba noodles with tempura (gave away the shrimp), tofu tempura with eggplant.
Snack: No snack.
Dinner: Coppino soup from Costco - even if you take out the fish, shrimp, and mussels therevare still some left in the soup. Cut it with vegetable soup, hope it was not too much. And then shisomaki with walnuts and miso, deep-fried. Plus walnut mochi balls. And a blood grapefruit. Not as small evening meal as I was supposed to have. And a glass of wine, since I wanted to try the Koshu-Chardonnay blend we found during our vacation.
