Clearly, using the family leftovers jeopardizes a purine-free diet. Especially when you have a son who refuses to eat anything but meat and carbohydrates (and tomatoes. He eats those). So now we had plenty of beef bowl topping (with the biggest meat pieces picked out). As I hate throwing away food, I put it in my curry. But I think my son will have to improve his meatpicking skills.
Todays weather and temperature: Warming up, windy, a few flakes of snow in the morning.
Breakfast: Mini-hamburger without pattie, and a cheese bagel my son did nor want.

Snack: An apple, a few nuts and a few Japanese rice crackers.
Dinner: The kids made pizza without meat for me, so today I had pizza. And a green smoothie.

Todays UA reading: 7.7 mg/dL, I guess there was some meat in that leftover sukiyaki-don I put in the curry yesterday. Let us see if the same thing happens today. Afraid it will, already my foot is hurting.
